Anthony Lane is a sculptor and multi-award winning graphic designer, who skilfully marries the technical sophistication of a master draughtsman with an instinctive understanding of three dimensional forms and mass. His sculptural projects are diverse and constantly evolving exploring multiple themes that allow for an interactive and dynamic interplay of ideas.

His interest in the human condition, order and chaos, the history of art, music and architecture, colour theory, the cosmos, geometry and mathematics, global issues of displacement, discrimination, crime and the influence of social media on society are some of the subjects he explores.

Contemporary, abstract representations of the human form are an ongoing theme in his work. Many of his works are created with the purpose of becoming large scale sculptures for urban and public environments.

He and his wife, painter Georgia Lane, live and work in Cape Town, South Africa and on the island of Skopelos in Greece.
